Adult ADHD & Autism Assessments for People Seeking Clarity and Answers
Comprehensive Online Assessments With A Clinical Psychologist Who Understands Late-Identified, High-Camouflaging Presentations & Neurodivergent Experiences Across Adulthood.
Welcome - I’m Catherine Eliot
I am a Perth-based Clinical Psychologist providing Australia-wide ADHD and Autism online assessments.
I am particularly drawn to supporting individuals whose experiences may have been overlooked or misunderstood, including those with more internalised or high-masking presentations. Many of the people I work with are insightful, capable, and deeply self-aware, yet have spent years navigating challenges that haven’t always been recognised or accurately explained.
Alongside my clinical training, I also bring personal insight into late-diagnosed ADHD, which informs a deeper appreciation of the more nuanced and often less visible ways it can present in Women & in adulthood. This perspective supports me to approach assessments with both clinical rigour and genuine understanding, particularly for those who may not identify with more traditional or externalised presentations.
My approach to assessment is thoughtful, thorough, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you can feel at ease and able to be yourself, without needing to mask or “fit” a particular expectation.
The process is designed not only to assess for diagnosis where appropriate, but to offer meaningful insight into how your mind works, including both strengths and areas of difficulty.
My approach is warm, practical, and grounded in both lived experience and evidence-based practice.

Your Questions Answered
Are online assessments valid and recognised?
1
Yes. Online assessments are widely used in Australia and can be conducted effectively using the same rigorous and evidence-based assessment methods & standardised tools as in person assessments.
How do I get started?
2
Getting started is simple. If you would like to book an ADHD and/or Autism assessment, please complete the enquiry form. I will be in touch within 1-2 business days with availability and next steps.
Do I need a referral?
3
A referral is not required to book an assessment for ADHD or Autism. Unfortunately, Medicare does not currently offer rebates for assessment services.
Can you prescribe medication?
4
No. As a Clinical Psychologist, I am unable to prescribe medication for ADHD. If appropriate, assessment reports can be shared with a Psychiatrist or GP to support further discussion regarding treatment options. If you decide to see a Psychiatrist for medical management, they will go through their own assessment and diagnosis.
What if I’m not sure whether I have ADHD or Autism?
5
That is very common.
Many people seek assessment because they have a longstanding sense that something has been missed, or because previous explanations have not fully captured their experience.
The assessment process is designed to explore your experiences carefully and thoughtfully, rather than making assumptions from the outset. Much of the time, people’s suspicions are confirmed.
